Goalies
Alex Nedeljkovic, PIT vs. UTA (9% rostered)
The Pens are playing the second half of a back-to-back and Nedeljkovic will draw the start after the Pens started Tristan Jarry against the league-leading Jets on Friday. This should be a much easier matchup for Nedeljkovic, who has just been okay. He won his previous start, 4-3, against the Sharks, but posted a pedestrian .897 SP and nearly blew a 3-0 lead.
Still, with Utah struggling to score and mired in a three-game losing streak, and now 4-9-3 overall after a 3-0-0 start, the Pens have a good chance of winning. Utah's offense has generated just four goals during their losing streak and shut out three times over the past three weeks. Andre Tourigny has mixed up the lines in an effort to find a spark, and certainly the Pens defense remains worrisome, but I would be a little surprised if Nedeljkovic doesn't win this matchup. He should be one of the top streaming options for Saturday.
David Rittich, LA vs. SEA (26% rostered)
This might prove to be a goalie battle with Joey Daccord likely to start at the other end of the ice, and neither team is particularly good at scoring. Rittich has filled in admirably for Darcy Kuemper, winning three of his past four starts and allowing just four goals.
Rittich's save percentage had steadily crept up, but what you're looking for with Rittich is a win and a low goals against since the Kings tend to be very good at limiting shots. With a road game coming up in San Jose soon, Rittich has medium-term value as well if you want to hold onto him.
Aliaksei Kolosov, PHI vs. CHI (1% rostered)
Kolosov did not have a good start to the season but it was certainly better than Ivan Fedotov's, though their roles have reversed now with Kolosov serving as Fedotov's backup. With Fedotov coming off a 4-1 loss to the Canes, however, the Flyers will be starting Kolosov against the Hawks.
Kolosov was pretty solid in his previous game against a high-octane Avs offense, allowing three goals on 29 shots. The Hawks should provide a much lesser challenge with their anemic offense. While I don't completely trust Kolosov, and weird things tend to happen with matinee games, he should be able to win his first game of the season.
Eric Comrie, WPG at NSH (4% rostered)
This seems like a good matchup; the Jets are one of the league's best teams, and even though they're playing the second game of a back-to-back, the Preds have been shut out twice in their past three games and lost nine of their past 12 games.
But other than his 2021-22 season with the Jets, Comrie has never been particularly reliable. He's 3-1-0 even though he's allowed three goals in three of those games with only one really noteworthy performance - a 39-save effort against the Pens in his first start of the season. The Preds' special teams is very good, and if the Jets can stay out of the box, they will likely win. But I think it's hard to trust Comrie, so don't look for a low GAA or high save percentage. There are better options out there, including Rittich and, potentially, Nedeljkovic.
James Reimer, BUF at SJ (1% rostered)
Reimer's expected to make his Sabres debut and it'll be his first action in nearly a month. This could be a good matchup for the Sabres with the Sharks losing five of their past six and have not won in regulation in two weeks - and they needed a superhuman 44-save performance Mackenzie Blackwood to do so - but it's really hard to trust Reimer.
The good news is the Sabres could get Tage Thompson back in the lineup, boosting the potential for better goal support. I'm just unsure how good Reimer will be.
