July 30 (The Sports Xchange) - The Kansas City Chiefs gave offensive tackle Eric Fisher a contract extension Saturday. The deal is for four years and worth $48 million, according to NFL Media. Fisher had his fifth-year option picked up by the team in the spring. Overall, his contract is for six years and $63 million, with $40 million guaranteed. Kansas City made Fisher the No. 1 overall pick in the 2013 draft after a stellar career at Central Michigan. - - - Disappointed with a lack of contract negotiations and playing under his original rookie deal, Houston Texans Pro-Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins didn't report for training camp and is holding out.
