NFL will appeal judge's ruling vacating Tom Brady's 'Deflategate' ban

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The National Football League will appeal a federal judge's ruling throwing out New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's "Deflategate" suspension, Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement. U.S. District Judge Richard Berman in New York vacated Brady's four-game ban earlier on Thursday, ruling that Goodell's decision in July to uphold Brady's suspension was legally flawed.
