The Brazilian model who accused soccer star Neymar of raping her in a Paris hotel room is now facing multiple charges in Brazil over the allegation.

The Associated Press reports that Najila Trindade, who has publicly discussed her allegations in Brazilian media, has been indicted on charges of procedural fraud, slanderous denunciation and extortion.

Neymar denied the allegation in the high-profile case that dominated Brazilian headlines this summer, claiming the sex was consensual. Neymar plays for Paris St. Germain.

Charges dropped in August

Prosecutors in San Paulo dropped the charges against Neymar on Aug. 8, citing a lack of evidence.

"What happened between four walls is impossible to know,” prosecutor Flavia Merlini told reporters. “We have her word against his."

Details about the charges facing Trindade are sparse. The Associated Press reports that her ex-husband Estivens Alves is accused of disclosing erotic content related to the matter.
