NBA hits Buddy Hield with a flopping warning, but he's hilariously holding his ground

The NBA officially warned Buddy Hield after he clearly flopped in the Sacramento Kings123-119 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday night.

Hield, though, is hilariously standing his ground.

Buddy Hield: ‘He push me’

The league tweeted out the clip of the incident from the game on Friday afternoon, announcing Hield’s warning for violating the anti-flopping rule.

Hield flopped during a free throw at the Moda Center after Portland guard Carmelo Anthony nudged him behind the 3-point line. After watching the multiple angles the league showed, there is absolutely no reason Hield couldn’t have stayed on his feet.

The flopping warning, obviously, was warranted.

Hield, however, isn’t taking the blame. He was pushed, and is very adamant about that fact.

Technically, he’s not wrong.

Yet it’s still very unlikely commissioner Adam Silver will see it his way.
