NBA says Jarrett Allen was fouled in fourth quarter against 76ers.

Saturday’s Game 4 between the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers might have gone a whole lot differently if a foul was called in favor of Jarrett Allen in the waning seconds.

In the NBA’s latest Last Two Minute Report, the league came to the conclusion that the 76ers’ Tobias Harris grabbed Allen by wrapping his arm around him during the pick. The move restricted Allen’s movement.

The would-be foul occurred with the 76ers up 110-108 with less than 20 seconds remaining in the game.

Allen receives a pass from D’Angelo Russell, but could not reach the basket he was driving toward. Instead, he found himself in-between three 76ers players and coughed up the ball, helping seal the win for Philadelphia.

Had Allen had a clear lane, he would have potentially made it in time to the basket to shoot a layup or dunk to tie the game at 110.

Instead, the Nets were forced to foul Harris in order to regain possession.

The 76ers won the game 112-108 and will look to close out the series on Tuesday in Game 5.

In the interim, both Jared Dudley and Jimmy Butler have been assessed fines for their role in an on-court incident. Nets general manager Sean Marks was also fined and suspended for one game for confronting referees in the postgame.
