Los Angeles enters Saturday night’s game with the Phoenix Suns as slight underdogs again after an easy win in Game 3 at home. The win cut Phoenix’s lead to 2-1 in the series as Los Angeles tries to mount a third consecutive comeback from an 0-2 deficit.
The over has hit in nine of the last 10 Suns road games when they were the favorite. The loss came on Thursday night as Phoenix was a one-point favorite ahead of the game.
The Clippers are 7-1 against the spread in their last eight home games when they’re the underdog. Los Angeles was favored in all for of its home games against the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs.
Los Angeles held the Suns to 39% shooting from the field Thursday night as the Suns were outscored by 16 points in the second half. Devin Booker was just 5-of-21 from the field while Chris Paul was 5-of-19 in his first game back from the NBA’s COVID-19 protocols.
With the total at 218.5, Yahoo Sports’ Minty Bets thinks the over is the right play on Saturday night despite three of the four games between the teams this season hitting the under.
