Yahoo Sports NBA betting: Bettors have little confidence the Bucks will win Game 3
Bettors are not favoring the Milwaukee Bucks to win Game 3 against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Bucks enter Game 3 down 2-0 in the series but are favored by 3.5 points at home. That line has caused bettors at BetMGM to put 77% of wagers on the Nets and the points. Seventy-five percent of the money wagered is on the Nets +3.5 too.
It’s also not like many bettors are thinking the Bucks will win a close game either. Eighty-four percent of the money on the moneyline is on the Nets to win and a nice 69% of the cash wagered on moneyline bets is on the Nets.
There’s a significant over/under trend too. The total is 234.5 and 62% of bettors like the under. Seventy-eight percent of the money wagered on the total is on the under.
The most popular prop bets at BetMGM are Kevin Durant to make five or more threes (+475), Blake Griffin to have fewer than 10.5 combined assists and rebounds (-110) and Giannis Antetokounmpo to record a triple-double (+900). If you like that Griffin prop, it's worth noting that the total has dropped to 9.5.
In the Western Conference, bettors like the Jazz -3 on Thursday night. Two-thirds of the tickets are on the Jazz minus the points and 74% of the handle is on the Jazz to cover. A whopping 83% of tickets on the total are on the over — a big reason why BetMGM has upped the total from 220.5 to 221.5.
