NBA betting: Bettors are split between the Bucks and Suns ahead of Game 3

There’s no consensus bettors’ favorite ahead of Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

The Phoenix Suns enter Game 3 up 2-0 on the Milwaukee Bucks after beating the Bucks in both games in Phoenix. Now as the series shifts to Milwaukee, the Bucks are four-point favorites at BetMGM ahead of Sunday night’s tipoff.

The line has moved a half-point in the Bucks' direction after it opened at -3.5, though that line movement isn’t because bettors are overwhelmingly backing the Bucks. Just over half — 50.1% to be exact — of wagers against the spread have been on the Bucks. Just over 56% of the handle — the total money wagered against the spread — is on the Bucks.

Moneyline bettors are backing the Suns. That makes sense given the Suns are now +145 on the moneyline to win the game outright. Almost 66% of wagers on the moneyline are on the Suns and 61.4% of the moneyline handle is on the Suns.

Bettors are slightly liking the over too. The total has moved down to 221.5 from 222.5 as 58.6% of wagers on the total are backing the over and 60.1% of the handle is on the over.

The Suns enter Game 3 as -500 favorites to win the series while the Bucks’ odds have moved up to +375.
