Napoli’s Andrea Chiavelli suggested as Roma’s CEO: Friedkins not interested
Long-time Napoli CEO Andrea Chiavelli has been linked with Roma.
In light of Lina Souloukou’s decision to resign from her duties as CEO of the capital club, the search for a new top executive has begun in Trigoria.
As reported by Il Messaggero, Chiavelli – who has been Aurelio De Laurentiis’ right-hand man for over twenty years – was mentioned as a possibility for the Friedkins.
However, the Roma owners do not appear interested and talks never took off.
The Friedkins are said to be consulting CAABase, a global agency that manages over 600 footballers and also recruits management figures and sporting directors. This agency will provide profiles to evaluate in the next few days.
