Myrtle Beach area pizzeria closes after 15 years, soon after ‘Cutthroat Kitchen’ chef left

Scatori’s Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant has closed after 15 years in business, a sign on the door confirmed.

The restaurant confirmed its closure five days ago, according to its Google Maps listing. As of Sunday, Scatori’s website and phone number were unreachable.

Located near Surfside Beach and Market Common, next to the Lowes Foods, the restaurant had been serving Italian dishes since 2008. One side of the business sold pizza, while the other had a dining room.

Chef Kevin Levine sold the restaurant in January after owning it since its opening, according to a West Virginia TV station. Now he runs a food truck in West Virginia. Levine appeared on the Food Network’s “Cutthroat Kitchen” in 2017.
