Muscogee County School District reschedules football games due to Tropical Storm Helene

The weather reports forecasting lots of rain and wind in the Columbus area from Tropical Storm Helene, which is expected to strengthen into a Category 3 hurricane before it hits Florida this week, have prompted the Muscogee County School District to reschedule two varsity football games.

Instead of playing Thursday night, these game will be played a day earlier, Wednesday, at 7 p.m.:

• Jordan vs. Sumter County at Kinnett Stadium

• Kendrick vs. Spencer at Odis Spencer Stadium.
