In the market for a new home in Columbia?
If you have been house hunting lately, chances are you’ve learned that home prices have stubbornly continued to rise overall over the last couple of years.
According to the latest South Carolina Realtors statistics, the median sales price for a home in the greater Columbia area was $257,918 for the first quarter of 2023, up 21.7% over the first quarter of 2021. And as of April, the median home sales price for the area was $267,467, up 0.9% year-over-year.
Still, there are homes to be found in the lower $150,000 price range in the Columbia area.
