Motherwell 3-0 Aberdeen: What the managers said

Motherwell boss Paul Brownlie:

"I am delighted with the result and the performance. We looked really aggressive, we controlled large parts of the game and we looked a constant threat.

"I think we were playing against a quality side, they're a team that we hadn't beaten this season and we had to respect that.

"We were under no illusions of what we had to do to try and win the game and I'm delighted that we did it."

Aberdeen boss Clinton Lancaster:

"I thought we were poor. I think Motherwell knew that a win for us and we'd be nine clear of them. I thought we were just not at it.

"We can't argue with the result, Motherwell were by far the better team, they deserved to win and we just have to pick ourselves up and go again.

"I think their goalkeeper probably got frostbite in the second half, she had nothing to do, so it just wasn't good enough. Fair play to Motherwell because they thoroughly deserved the win."
