Trevor Bauer's administrative leave extended by 7 days
Warning: The following article contains graphic allegations of sexual assault and domestic violence.
MLB announced on Thursday that Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer will continue to be on administrative leave for at least another seven days.
With the agreement of the Players Association, MLB has extended Trevor Bauer's placement on Administrative Leave for an additional 7 days, effective tomorrow. MLB's investigation is ongoing.

Bauer was placed on leave last Friday as MLB and the Pasadena (California) Police Department investigate serious assault allegations that have been made against him. Administrative leave lasts for seven days, but can be continually renewed as long as the MLB Players Association agrees. Jeff Passan of ESPN reported that MLB and the MLBPA will soon discuss an "indefinite extension" of Bauer's administrative leave.
Dodgers SP Trevor Bauer's administrative leave has been extended by seven days as police and the league continue to investigate sexual assault allegations against him. Unless something is resolved by then -- very unlikely -- league and union will discuss an indefinite extension.

The allegations against Bauer stem from two sexual encounters he had with one woman earlier this year. In a temporary ex parte restraining order the woman was granted last week, she accused Bauer of repeatedly punching her in the head and other parts of her body, choking her until she was unconscious, and raping her anally while she was unconscious. Several of her injuries required hospital visits, and she reportedly provided multiple photos to corroborate her account.
Bauer released a statement on Thursday through his agents.

Bauer bobblehead day canceled
The Orange Country Register reported on Wednesday that a Bauer bobblehead promotion planned for Aug. 19 has been canceled, and that all his merchandise has been removed from the Dodgers' and MLB's online stores.
A Dodgers spokesperson confirmed both of those reports in a statement released to the Orange County Register.
A Dodgers spokesman said the decision was made because the team “did not feel it was appropriate” to have the promotion or continue to sell the merchandise “while investigations continue by Major League Baseball and the Pasadena Police Department.”
There is no timeline for either investigation. The Pasadena Police Department recently told USA Today that their investigation is bigger than they thought due to new leads that have arisen since the story went public.
