Neil Harris wants to sign two more players before Millwall kick off their season against Nottingham Forest next week.

Although the Championship club have brought in five players this summer it is three weeks since the last arrival, with defender Conor McLaughlin joining on a free transfer from Fleetwood.

Boss Harris said: “We are very, very busy behind the scenes and have made no secret that we want a couple more additions.

“We are working extremely hard in dialogue with clubs and agents to make it happen and I think we are very fortunate that we brought five first-team targets in out of five, and two more we are after have been stop-start."

Millwall failed to score for the second consecutive game as they drew 0-0 at Stevenage on Tuesday.

The Lions lost 1-0 at Barnet on Saturday and Harris said: “We looked very pre‑season like [at Barnet] but we looked sharper against Stevenage. We were very dangerous with the ball.”
