When you’re known as “the baddest man on the planet,” you can get away with things that most people can’t.

And for Mike Tyson, one of those things, it seems, is brazenly swiping an ice cream bar without paying for it.

That was what unfolded Monday night at the US Open, according to the New York Post. Apparently, Tyson decided to indulge himself at one of Arthur Ashe Stadium’s concession stands by scooping a Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked ice cream treat straight out of the freezer, without shelling out the $5.50 for it.

“I was like, ‘Are you serious? Am I imagining this? (Tyson) was like, ‘I feel like having an ice cream’ and he just took it,” a concession worker told The Post. “What are you going to do, fight him? He’s Mike Tyson.”

The New York Daily News reported that a member of Tyson’s camp returned to the stand Tuesday to pay for the bar.

Tyson’s publicist Joann Mignano was quick on damage control, saying it was all just one big misunderstanding.

“Mike got the ice cream and was going to have the host pay for it as he was running around with his family,” Mignano said in a statement. “He was being pulled in a lot of directions as his daughter, Milan, is a rising tennis star and huge fan of the sport. He donated to the USTA scholarship fund. His host, [USTA National Manager] David Slade, got the money from Mike and has made sure the bill has been taken care of.”
