🚨 Middlesbrough complete signing of Bristol City forward Tommy Conway

Middlesbrough have confirmed the signing of Bristol City forward Tommy Conway.

Conway joins Michael Carrick’s side in a reported £4.5m deal following five years at Ashton Gate.

He racked up 12 goals for the Robins last season as they narrowly missed out on a Championship top-half finish.

The Scotland international, who has penned a four-year contract at the Riverside, was also named the club’s Young Player of the Year.

“We’re delighted to bring Tommy in. He’s a good age, he has great potential and we’re really excited to work with him,” said Carrick.

“He’s already got plenty of Championship experience, and he’s a great addition to the squad.”

Boro travel to newly promoted Derby County in Saturday’s early kick-off.
