Pre-pandemic (aka another lifetime), you probably didn’t give much thought to what disinfectants you kept around your place. You just had what you had, and that was that. But now, we know that a good disinfectant can help keep you and your family safe—so, of course, what you have at home matters.
Way back when the pandemic first started, the Environmental Protection Agency only included a few products on its list of disinfectants that can kill SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Over time, that list has grown to include new products, and they’ve all quickly sold out.
Now, there’s a new disinfectant spray that’s joined the list. It’s called Microban 24 Hour Sanitizing Spray and—no shocker here—it’s already sold out in most stores. That said, you can currently find it on Amazon, either by the case or individual bottle.
Heads up: Like most must-have disinfectant sprays right now, the prices are a little more inflated than they would have been before COVID-19 happened. But, if you need it, it’s good to know there are options.
Right now, you can stock up with a case of six bottles of Microban 24 Hour Sanitizing Spray for $66, or buy just one bottle for $19.
This sanitizing spray is powerful. It’s been shown in studies to kill SARS-CoV-2 in just 60 seconds. On hard surfaces, it can take up to five minutes.
A really, really great feature of this sanitizing spray is that it continues to kill bacteria and other germs for up to 24 hours after you use it. Just a heads up, though: It won’t continue to kills SARS-CoV-2 for that long. Still, you can banish other germs from your home for 24 hours at a time heading into winter. And that’s definitely something to smile about.
Interested in stocking up? Don’t wait. Like all good sanitizing sprays, this one is sure to sell out.
