Yahoo Sports Prince Harry and Meghan Markle surprise parents and kids with essential supplies in new video
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lent a hand to a charity working to tackle child poverty earlier this month.
Now the Los Angeles-based organisation Baby2Baby has released a new video showing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex hard at work handing out essential supplies to parents and children.
In a post on Instagram, they revealed that they were “thrilled” to have the royal couple distributing nappies, clothing and food ahead of the new US school term.
The clip showed the duke, 35, and duchess, 39, handing items through car windows while wearing face masks.
Captioning a clip, the charity wrote: “We were thrilled to have the Duke and Duchess of Sussex join our team last week for a back to school distribution, spending time with students returning to remote learning due to COVID-19.
“Thank you for putting smiles on the faces of the children and families we serve and helping us provide the supplies, basic hygiene and clothing every child deserves.”
Social media users praised the couple – themselves parents to one-year-old son Archie – for giving up their time for the good cause.

One person wrote: “Thanks for sharing. Love that they joined you.”
Another commented: “They are amazing.”
A third shared: “That's so beautiful, they're wonderful.”
And a fourth added: “Such a wonderful couple.”
It comes as the organisation previously released images showing them giving out supplies at the drive-through distribution at Knox Elementary in South Los Angeles.
Both the duke and duchess wore cloth face masks, which is now a mandatory requirement in California in numerous public places to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
Meghan’s face mask featured a blue seersucker print and was designed by New York-based Royal Jelly Harlem, which uses 100% African fabrics.
It can be purchased and shipped internationally for $15 (approximately £11.44).
The couple aren’t the first royals to be seen wearing face masks – the Duchess of Cambridge donned a floral face mask while volunteering with Baby Basic UK in Sheffield earlier this month.

Harry and Meghan’s ensembles were also coordinated – they both wore cargo shorts in neutral tones with white shirts, and finished off their looks with practical footwear.
The duke wore a pair of Adidas trainers, while Meghan opted for her trusty pair of Adidas Stan Smith trainers.
This isn’t the first time they have supported the charity Baby2Baby. In 2019, to celebrate the birth of their son, the charity was chosen as one of four organisations for donations in lieu of gifts.
The family moved into their new California home last month, after spending lockdown at a friend’s Beverly Hills mansion.
