Meet Bark-Andre, the furry fixture with the Golden Knights

One of the more popular attractions around the Vegas Golden Knights, if you will believe it, is a 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier.

Bark-Andre Furry — or Bark, originally — is basically the team’s unofficial tail-wagging mascot and a fixture at Golden Knights practice, indulging each and every request for a pet.

A good boy for sure, Furry is such a big deal that Vegas’s favourite son and the inspiration behind the name, Marc-Andre Fleury, requested a meeting with the pooch. Fleury’s signature is now featured in the lettering of the pup’s customized Bark-Andre sweater.

In true Vegas fashion, one of Furry’s many talents — and there are many — is picking winners. Never one to pick against the Golden Knights, Furry’s obviously been correct far more than he’s been wrong throughout Vegas’s incredible expansion season.

One word of advise, though: When seeking his insight, don’t let him too close to the microphone.
