Update: Hossa has been released from the hospital, according to the Chicago Tribune. He had been rushed there via ambulance after being rocked by a nasty Raffi Torres hit early in Tuesday's game.
Recommendation: Hossa would not speak to media and was able to get himself into a waiting car. He had been hit in the head by a charging Torres, potentially knocking the big winger out. There is plenty of speculation about the nature of Hossa's injury, including the likelihood of a concussion and the possibility of a broken jaw, but nothing is confirmed yet. Barring a miraculous recovery, we think he's done for this series and perhaps more.
