Marc Pubill set to join Atalanta, Roma out of the race

Atalanta have overtaken Roma in the race for Marc Pubill.

The Bergamaschi are ready to seal an agreement for the Spanish fullback from Almeria.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, negotiations between Atalanta and Almeria are at final stages for a total fee of 16 million euros,

Almeria are yet to give the final OK, but it is only a matter of time before the Spaniard will join Atalanta.

Tomorrow there will be new contacts between the clubs to define the operation, while between Saturday and Sunday the agreement will be concluded with the player.

Thus, Roma are out of the race and will be forced to focus on other targets to strengthen their right flank.
