What is the team news?

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe cannot call on main striker Callum Wilson, who misses out as part of a two-match ban. His partner Josh King could return from an ankle injury, however, to give Howe more of a goal threat, while long-term absentee Charlie Daniels remains sidelined.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has no fresh injury concerns. The Norwegian made eight changes for Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final win at Norwich, and then made a similar amount of alterations for the thumping win over Brighton. Expect few changes, with many of the those who beat Brighton continuing as United look to capitalise on their purple patch and clinch a top-four spot.

Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones could make their long-awaited returns from injury for United, too, although that has not been confirmed.

What are Telegraph writers saying?

Mike McGrath has all the news from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who calls on his improving Manchester United team to snatch a Champions League spot. Read the piece here and below is a snippet:

It’s been good since the restart, everyone has worked really hard and we agreed before the lockdown what we were going to do and everyone was true to their word and came back fitter and stronger and we are ready to keep pushing on and challenging the teams in front of us.

Meanwhile, Jim White felt, in Wednesday evening's heavy loss to Newcastle, that Bournemouth had given up before they had even started, showing no fight.

It might have been an excellent performance by Newcastle, the sort that will have its putative owners purring. But it was helped by the fact that Bournemouth’s players did little to resist the onslaught. Out-paced, out-thought, outfought, from the kick-off they seemed resigned to ensuring this would be their 16th defeat in their last 21 Premier League games.

What are the odds?

  • Man Utd win: 2/13

  • Draw: 6/1

  • Bournemouth win: 22/1

What is our prediction?

United are unbeaten since football resumed and have their sights set on a Champions League spot. Bournemouth, however, look destined for the drop. Manchester United 3 Bournemouth 1
