Antoine Griezmann is reportedly open to a move away from Atletico Madrid in the summer, according to Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague, who spoke about the matter on a Sky Sports question and answer session, reports The Sun .
“[Atletico’s] plan is to [keep their players]. Antonio Griezmann is perhaps the only one in doubt.
"Simeone wants to take the team to the new stadium next season and Griezmann isn’t rushing to leave either – but he’s going to wait and see what offers arrive, and then take a decision.
“Everyone else is planning to stay on at Atletico, so we’ll see how the summer pans out.”
Griezmann's alleged openness to a departure is said to have been sparked by interest from top Premier League clubs. A few months ago, the Mail reported on Chelsea's interest in the star wide man.
The report hinted at a potential move in the summer and went on to claim that the prolific goalscorer has indicated desire for a Premier League move.
The Blues' rivals Manchester United are another team linked with Griezmann by the Mail . United have struggled for creativity this season and with that in mind, it is perhaps not hard to see why the Red Devils 'deployed scouts' to monitor the diminutive France international.
But would Griezmann truly succeed in the Premier League? One may point to Griezmann's slight frame which could be a concern given the robust and physical nature of the English league.
However, even players with more sturdy frames have struggled, such as United's very own Memphis Depay.

That said, Griezmann does possess exemplary attributes that could provide success in England's top flight. The Atletico Madrid man is now a regular goalscorer, already notching 29 goals this season.
Coupled with a terrific change of pace, Griezmann poses an attacking threat to just about any back line in the world.
