Man completed 50 Ironman triathlons in 50 days

The average person probaby gets exhausted just thinking about the length of an Ironman triathlon: a 2.4-mile swim, followed by a 112-mile bike ride, before a 26.2-mile marathon. It's hard enough completing these feats individually, nevermind doing so back to back to back, without a break.

Now picture someone completing this grueling task 50 times, in 50 consecutive days, in 50 different states. Believe it or not, that's what "Iron Cowboy" James Lawrence recently accomplished, setting a new Guinness World Record in the process (duh).

The staggering achievement required more than just unparalleled cardio. Every day, Lawrence spent roughly 14 hours racing, consumed nearly 8,000 calories and stuck to a travel schedule that limited his sleep to 4.5 hours per night.
