Man City 'weighing up move' for Celtic star Kyogo

Manchester City are considering a move for Celtic fan favourite Kyogo Furuhashi, according to a report in The Athletic.

The Japanese forward has scored 53 goals in 96 league games in Scotland, prompting City to consider tabling a bid for him.

The report suggests that the return of İlkay Gündoğan is currently the club’s priority, but that Kyogo has made the final shortlist.

City are in the market for a forward, having sold Julian Álvarez to Atlético Madrid earlier in the transfer window.
