I’m trying a Mississippi Coast restaurant every week. You get to choose for me.

Summer technically hasn’t arrived just yet, but we get things started a little early on the Coast.

For the next couple of months, the Sun Herald will be running a summertime series of polls highlighting restaurants around the Mississippi Coast.

I’m Scott Watkins, the sports and food reporter, and I need your help picking out where I eat each week.

The winner of each poll will be the subject of our next food review and the second-place finisher will remain on the ballot for the next week.

Similar to our other polls, this one is not scientific. Vote early and as often as you like and we’ll handle the rest. Voting ends on Wednesday, June 7 at 9 a.m.

To begin the series, we have four restaurants from four different areas. Some seafood flavors, pizza favorites and local hideouts highlight the list.
