Lyman Good Pulled from UFC 205 Fight Card

The UFC announced on Monday evening that welterweight Lyman Good was informed of a potential anti-doping violation stemming from a recent out-of-competition test.

As a result of the test, which according to officials was collected on Oct. 14, Good was removed from his scheduled bout with Belal Muhammad at UFC 205 and provisionally suspended.

“USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case,” read the UFC's statement. “It is important to note that, under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, there is a full fair legal review process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed. Consistent with all previous potential anti-doping violations, additional information or UFC statements will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward.”

Good has made one appearance in the UFC, winning via second-round knockout at a UFC Fight Night event in July 2015. The fighter is also a former Bellator welterweight champion.
