Lucas Vázquez signs Real Madrid contract extension

Lucas Vázquez has followed Luka Modrić in signing a contract extension that will keep him at Real Madrid until 2025.

Vázquez’s previous deal expired at the end of last month, and the 33-year-old has now extended his stay for an additional year.

Aside from a loan spell at Espanyol, Vázquez has spent his entire career with Los Blancos, making 349 appearances for the club, and winning four LaLiga titles, five Champions Leagues, and number of other trophies.

The full-back made 38 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring three goals.
