Penticton Vees forward Louie Wehmann has committed to Cornell, it was announced late last week.

A native of Wayzata, MN, Wehmann has 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 21 games for the Vees in his first season in the BCHL.

Wehmann played for three teams last season: Providence Academy in the USHS-MN, the St. Cloud Norsemen in the NAHL, and the Youngstown Phantoms in the USHL.

Born in 2006, Wehmann stands at six feet three inches and is listed at 209 pounds. He'll be able to impose his size on opponents at Cornell as soon as he makes the jump to the NCAA.
