Yahoo Sports Loose Women's Jane McDonald joins Celebrity Gogglebox cast
Loose Women star Jane McDonald has joined the lineup for the new series of Celebrity Gogglebox.
The singer will appear alongside Sue Ravey, her best friend of 30 years, who she leaned on for support following the death of her partner Eddie Rothe to lung cancer in 2021.
Sue, who worked as Jane's backing singer, moved into her home following his death, and the pair will now appear in the new Celebrity Gogglebox series, which begins later this month.

Jane took to Twitter on Thursday to announce the news, as the former Loose Women panelist said that it's going to be an "absolute blast".
She tweeted: "I'm going to be appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox with my best friend Sue – it's going to be an absolute blast!
"We’ve shared some unforgettable moments over the years but I am really looking forward to spending time together on this wonderful show."

Her announcement comes days after Springwatch presenter Chris Packham announced that he is set to take to the sofa alongside his stepdaughter.
The naturalist and broadcaster said: "Gogglebox is a real barometer of what the nation is talking about. I am looking forward for Megan and I to add our two-bits to the conversation."
Other stars joining Celebrity Gogglebox for its fifth series include Davina McCall, who will appear alongside her boyfriend Michael Douglas.
Comedian Katherine Ryan and her husband Bobby are also joining the show.

"It’s usually just the dogs who get to see us watch TV, so we’re excited to welcome viewers into our home as we decompress in our favourite spot – the sofa," she told The Sun.
"We’ve been huge Gogglebox fans for years and we are thrilled to be taking part."
It comes after regular Celebrity Gogglebox star Babatunde Aléshé confirmed last month that he will be back on the sofa for the new series alongside friend and fellow comedian Mo Gilligan.
A slew of familiar faces are also returning for the new series, including Zoe Ball, Rylan Clark, Denise Van Outen, Shaun Ryder and Nick Grimshaw.
Gogglebox airs and streams on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
