Myrtle Beach’s most expensive home just got a discount.

The sprawling $4.7 million mansion at 109 Wildwood Dunes Trail in the city’s exclusive Dunes Golf and Beach Club development had $200,000 knocked off its price tag earlier this year, and has been on the market for 76 days.

Built in 2006, the home was most recently owned by Patrick Sparks according to county land records. Sparks is general manager and co-owner of Sparks Toyota. He’s been on Coastal Carolina University’s governing board since 2017.

Nearly $2 million worth of improvements have been completed since the house was built, according to county tax records.

Amenities in the 5-bedroom, 8-bathroom home would make Logan Roy proud.

The custom millwork, moldings and solid wood interior doors are complemented by Brazilian cherry hardwood floors and customized lighting. A six-burner gas range, two upscale sinks, quartz counter tops, water purification system and wine cooler occupy space in the kitchen.

Across the Grand Strand, single-family home prices are up 4.5% year-over year, to an average of $358,400.
