The conversation surrounding Andy Robertson this season has shifted onto when, not if, Liverpool replace him.

The long-time left-back has struggled for form this season, and after being exposed by Bukayo Saka for Arsenal’s first goal in the 2-2 draw last month, head coach Arne Slot has seemingly lost a bit of faith in him.

Robertson played the full 90 in the League Cup fourth-round tie against Brighton, but has subsequently only seen 10 minutes of action over the two games since - a Premier League tie against Brighton (again) and a Champions League affair against Bayer Leverkusen.

Kostas Tsimikas has stepped into the role and done so admirably. He recorded the side’s second-highest rating on FotMob against Brighton with 8.2 (only Trent Alexander-Arnold received higher with 8.3).
