Former Wales, Cardiff City and Swansea City winger Andy Legg has been appointed head coach of Cymru Premier club Barry Town United.

His appointment sees former Wales team-mate Steve Jenkins move into the head of football and first team coach role at the club.

Legg has had two spells as manager of Llanelli and has also been in charge of Hucknall Town and Bangor City.

Barry missed out on a place in the Cymru Premier's Championship Conference for the second phase of the season and face Flint on Saturday.
