Law & Order star Kelli Giddish has announced the happy news that she is expecting another child with her husband, Beau Richards.

The Amanda Rollins actress announced her pregnancy on Instagram, posting a picture of the couple, who married in 2021. Giddish has two sons, Ludo and Charlie, from her previous marriage to Lawrence Faulborn.

"Can't wait to welcome our baby boy soon!" the star wrote in the caption, confirming she's expecting another son.

The actress recently guest starred on the third season of Law & Order: Organized Crime, leading fans to believe she was pregnant after spotting her character's baby bump.

Her two previous pregnancies were written into the show, but it is unclear at the moment when Rollins will return to the series and in which capacity.

Giddish originally left the Law & Order franchise at the end of 2022, when Rollins married Sonny Carisi (Peter Scanavino) and resigned from the Special Victims Unit to go teach at Fordham University.

"I wanted to address the chatter I've seen online and let everyone know that this will, indeed, be my last season on Law & Order: SVU," Giddish wrote on Instagram at the time.

"Playing Rollins has been one of the greatest joys and privileges of my life. I've been so fortunate to be a part of the Law & Order family for the last 12 years. There is simply no other character on TV like Rollins. She's grown and changed, and I have as well. I started on this show when I was in my late 20s and I'm grateful I got to spend so many of my adult years with Rollins in my life."

Law & Order: SVU airs Thursdays on NBC in the US. The show airs on Sky Witness in the UK, with select episodes available on NOW.
