Lamptey could be allowed to leave Brighton

Brighton full-back Tariq Lamptey could be on the move before Friday's transfer deadline.

The 23-year-old made his first appearance of the season in Tuesday night's EFL Cup win over Crawley.

However, he was an unused substitute in Saturday's Premier League win over Manchester United having recovered from the minor injury that kept him out of the opening day success at Everton, and sources have indicated Brighton would let him leave if their conditions were met.

That is thought to include a loan as long as it contained an obligation to turn it into a permanent deal.
