Yahoo Sports Lamar Jackson misses first practice of training camp after testing positive for COVID-19
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson wasn't present at practice Wednesday after testing positive for COVID-19.
Jackson was absent for the start of practice due to COVID-19 issues. Following practice, coach John Harbaugh confirmed both Jackson and running back Gus Edwards tested positive for COVID-19.

It's unclear when Jackson and Edwards will be able to return to action. The amount of time they miss could depend on whether Jackson and Edwards have been vaccinated.
The news comes on the day Ravens are holding their first full-team training camp practice.
Lamar Jackson was on COVID list last season
It's not the first time Jackson has been involved in this type of situation. Jackson was placed on the COVID-19/reserve list last season, and missed the team's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in December. Jackson was able to return for the team's next game, scoring three touchdowns in a win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Jackson's placement on the COVID-19/reserve list last season came shortly after the Ravens experienced a team-wide outbreak. At least 18 players were put on the COVID-19/reserve list during the outbreak. Multiple games needed to be moved to accommodate the team's positive tests.
