Kyle Lowry doesn't know if he's ever spoken to Kawhi Leonard
In most cases, you remember the people you’ve spoken to.
But apparently, Kyle Lowry has no idea if he has ever had a conversation with NBA champion, former Finals MVP and new teammate Kawhi Leonard. When asked Friday about his interactions with Kawhi, Lowry couldn’t remember if he has or hasn’t conversed with him in the past.

Even if I was an All-Star player like Lowry, I’m confident that I would remember if I had said something to Kawhi Leonard. Ever.
And since this is very hard to believe, it’s fair to see the whole situation as Lowry not seeming overly pleased about the trade that sent his best pal to San Antonio.
I don’t know if this is good or bad, but I think Twitter agrees.
Clearly Lowry is bitter about DeMar being dealt. I hoping he sees the bigger picture here. Friendships can last forever. The ability to win a basketball championship doesn’t.

man I love Lowry and DeRozan, that era was so much fun… I hate watching them act out like this because things didn't go their way. It's childish, and even if they do feel cheated it doesn't serve them to act this way.

If the Raptors want to make it work in 2018-19, they are going to need Lowry to accept the fact that DeMar DeRozan may not have been treated fairly, as well as getting used to having Leonard as a teammate.
Otherwise, this could turn out to be an ugly situation for a team that needs improved results.
