While Lonzo Ball has the publicity, lottery-pick money and his own apparel brand, fellow Los Angeles Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma has quietly gone about his business.

Business that earned him Western Conference Rookie of the Month honors for October and November.

Well, he wasn’t so quiet on Wednesday, sending out this Instagram jab at Ball and the Big Baller Brand that he and his father, LaVar Ball have made so famous.

It’s a multi-level burn, primarily taking aim at the outrageous prices of BBB apparel, most notably Lonzo’s signature ZO2 shoes that sold for $495. To be fair, the most expensive hat on the BBB website sells for $50.

The post also takes on the hoodie that Lonzo wore prior to Tuesday’s game at the New York Knicks with his face emblazoned in place of Nas’ on the cover art for his “It Was Written” album.

It’s the latest in Lonzo’s bizarre ongoing beef with the New York hip-hop icon.

While the jab is clearly in jest, Kuzma, the 27th pick in the same draft as Ball, surely can’t help but take some pleasure in outshining his much-hyped rookie teammate on the court. It’s human nature.

As Ball’s much-maligned shot has led to 8.9 points per game on 32.7 percent field goal shooting and a 48.6 percent clip from the line, Kuzma has rolled to 16.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game on 55 percent shooting from the field.
