Knowshon Moreno joining Dolphins

National Football Post

The Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms with former Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno on a one-year deal, according to ESPN.

Moreno has had no other free agent visits.

A former first-round draft pick from Georgia, Moreno gained a career-high 1,038 yards and scored 10 touchdowns last season as the Broncos reached the Super Bowl before being routed by the Seattle Seahawks.

Moreno also caught 60 passes for 548 yards and three touchdowns.

The Dolphins needed help at running back.

Last season, Lamar Miller was their leading rusher with just 709 yards and two touchdowns.
