Kings' MacDermid will have player safety hearing after hit to head of Flyers' Provorov
It seems that actions from 2019 can follow you into the new year, for Kurtis MacDermid at least.
The Los Angeles Kings defenseman laid a questionable hit on Philadelphia’s Ivan Provorov on Tuesday night and will face a NHL Player Safety hearing on Friday as a result.

This angle shows the contact to Provorov’s head. No penalty was called on the play and Provorov was slow to get up but remained in the game.

MacDermid has four points and 29 penalty minutes through 26 games with the Kings this season.
