Kevin Garnett names Toronto as top distraction city in NBA

One former NBA legend gave some serious love to Toronto on his show Friday.

Kevin Garnett named the home of the Raptors has his top NBA “distraction city” on his show “KG’s Area 21” on Friday.

The 15-time all-star discussed the top five NBA “distraction cities” with former player Rasheed Wallace as his guest co-host . The usual suspects like New York City and Miami were on their lists before Garnett surprised with his answer as the number one city.

“I’m going to give you a number one that a lot of people don’t like to talk about- this is probably one of the best-kept secrets in our league that is a distraction city- and it is Toronto, Toronto, Canada, ” Garnett said.

Garnett, who played for the T-Wolves, Celtics, and Nets in his career cited Toronto’s nightlife and great parties along with it being safe as some of the reasons for his answer.

“I’ve always had a good time in Toronto, I’ve always had a good time in Canada, even when we played in Vancouver.”
