Wanda Durant took to Twitter to get one last laugh at the expense of Oklahoma City Thunder fans on Monday after her son Kevin Durant bested his former squad in his return to Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Thunder fans, as expected, showered Durant with boos as he face off against the Thunder on Saturday. One of the more interesting names they had for the Washington D.C. native was “cupcake”, triggering Wanda’s tweet.

Several Warriors – including Stephen Curry and Draymond Green – wore cupcake shirts after Golden State’s 130-114 victory, the third for Durant against his old team this season.

The mother of the Warriors forward wasn’t very happy with her son’s treatment in his first game back in Oklahoma City.

“The most vicious things you could say, they said about my son tonight; it’s hurtful,” Wanda told ESPN.

She took a more light-hearted approach on Monday at getting back at the Thunder faithful.

It’s not the first time we’ve witnessed the bond between mother and son.

Durant called his mother “the real MVP” during his memorable speech after being named the 2013-2014 NBA Most Valuable Player.
