Kevin De Bruyne has downplayed his spat with Manchester City team-mate David Silva at half-time in last night’s Champions League tie with Napoli.

De Bruyne was seen shouting “let me talk” three times at Silva as the Spaniard and Fernandinho looked to separate their furious team-mate from the fourth official.

The Belgian international had been booked for dissent moments before the interval and could have faced further sanction had he argued with the officials.

De Bruyne appeared to fume with his team-mates as he made his way down the tunnel but insisted after the 2-1 win that it had all been forgotten.

"Let me talk! Let me talk! Let me talk!"
