Keshi targets WC upsets

Keshi: Let's not rush

Nigeria head coach Stephen Keshi insists the Super Eagles do not fear facing any of the so-called big teams at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Nigeria have been drawn in what looks like a tough Group F alongside two-time world champions Argentina, newcomers Bosnia and Herzegovina and middle eastern giants Iran. However, Keshi has revealed the squad will not be travelling to South America to make up the numbers, insisting they could pull off a couple of upsets at the showpiece later this year. "I don't fear people, I respect people. Fear is not in my agenda," the 2013 AFCON-winning coach told Nigerian publication Punch. "I don't see my team scared of any other team at the World Cup.When we go to Brazil in June, you will all see what will happen. Let's just leave it that way. "We'll take every match as it comes. The important thing is to have our players ready for the tournament."
