The Kennesaw State University football team took its first-ever flight Saturday — the program is only two years old — and redshirt freshman linebacker Keagan Jordan wasn’t feeling it.

The two-year letterman had never flown before and even before the plane left the ground in Georgia heading for Pittsburgh, Jordan started to regret his decision to come aboard.

So what did his teammates do to calm him down, they filmed his entire freakout and were treated to an unexpected ending.

Yes, Jordan, who clutches his chest and yells, “Oh! Oh! Oh my God! We ain’t gone make it!” appears to pass out much to the amusement of his teammates.

Rest assured Jordan was OK and did play in the 36-28 victory over Duquesne.

Now you can decide whether you think this video is real or fake, but Kennesaw State spokesman Mike DeGeorge somewhat vouched for its authenticity.

“That’s the beauty of social media — you never know what goes viral and what doesn’t,” DeGeorge said. “We are always preaching to our student-athletes to be responsible on social media, and to be aware of their surroundings, because anything can be caught on camera, and made public. I doubt anyone expected this to explode the way it did.”

DeGeorge said Jordan wasn’t the only player on the team taking his first flight. About 40 players on board had never flown prior to Saturday, but hopefully they’ll be old pros and not Internet sensations when the team takes off for Monmouth University in New Jersey on Oct. 28.
