Raptors and Clippers share best Vegas odds to sign Kawhi Leonard

As the Toronto Raptors’ incredible season comes to a close with a championship parade, the basketball world is already shifting its attention to the future.

While Raptors fans are feeling confident about the team’s chances at signing Kawhi Leonard to a contract extension, Vegas isn’t exactly singing the same tune.

As the team’s championship parade made its way through the streets of Toronto, Caesars Palace was quietly giving odds on where Board Man will eventually end up.

It’s not all bad for the Raptors, as the legendary casino has Toronto splitting the best odds with the Los Angeles Clippers, but this is not the vote of confidence that Raptors fans were hoping for ahead of Kawhi’s big decision.

Vegas hasn’t completely lost faith in a Kawhi extension north of the border, as Oddshark also updated their odds on Leonard’s free agency decision — Toronto remains the betting favourite at -140 with the Clippers second on the list at +150.

He stay? We’ll have to wait and see, but if Kawhi’s mood at today’s parade was any indication, he seems to like it in Toronto.
