Katie Price is back in the studio recording music for a brand new album.

The 42-year-old headed to a London location this week to work alongside producer Rick Live.

He shared a video to Instagram of Price in the booth recording a track with lyrics including "put me back together again".

It was implied that could be the theme of the album as when the producer asked the mother-of-five what it would be called she replied: "I suppose it should be called 'Put Me Back Together'."

It comes after Price broke both her feet in an accident while on holiday in Turkey with boyfriend Carl Woods and her children Junior, 15, and Princess, 13.

She's previously said doctors told her she was lucky to be alive after jumping over a small wall without realising there was a 25ft drop on the other side.

"The doctors said I’m lucky I’m not dead. I could have hit my head and I could have been paralysed, I am actually lucky I landed on my feet.

"It was horrific pain. It felt like a nail gun hitting me continuously, like non-stop electric shocks," she told The Sun.

Price required surgery to fuse bones in her feet back together and has been using a wheelchair to help herself move around.

The new album isn't her first steps into the music business as she and ex husband Peter Andre charted with their 2006 album A Whole New World.

Price has also released several singles and was a runner-up in the selection contest for the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, losing out to Javine Hylton.
