Kansas Jayhawks football adds standout transfer wide receiver from Ball State
The University of Kansas football team is certainly making good use of the NCAA transfer portal.
The Jayhawks made another addition via the portal on Sunday afternoon, as former Ball State wide receiver Cameron Pickett announced his commitment to the KU on social media.
He will help replenish KU at the position, as 2024 starters Luke Grimm, Lawrence Arnold and Quentin Skinner all graduate this month.
Pickett is coming off a solid season. He was third-team All-MAC after making 49 receptions for 529 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns.
Pickett joins a KU relatively young wide receiver corps for 2025 that is set to include Bryson Hayes, Jaden Nickens, Keaton Kubecka, Tate Nagy, Jackson Cook and Doug Emilien.
